I still haven't found what I'm looking for... |
...but in the meantime, I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good. |
“4th Oct, 2012 - Last day in Edinburgh
Sherlock got up very early this morning, claimed to be working on some experiment. But I was really surprised when this delicious breakfast was presented. Well, alright, he admited that the host of our guesthouse, Bill, helped a lot…But still…right?
Don’t ask me why there’re roses, I can only assume Bill’s garden has been suffering…”
“Sir Arthur Conan Doyle died on this date in 1930 at 8.30 in the morning. Sherlock Holmes fans are writing 221B on their wrists today in memoriam.”
Here is my contribution. R.I.P. Sir Arthur, one of the greatest writers the world has ever seen. Thank you for giving us the stories of Sherlock Holmes. Thank you for letting us run alongside one of the greatest minds and one of the bravest hearts. Thank you for improving our deductions of the world around us, but most importantly… Thank you for giving us one hell of a ride. Love, always, a very grateful Sherlockian. x

I resorted to greyscale because the colours just look shit otherwise and I’m only just learning how to do gifs have mercy HAVE MERCYYY
This bit is really sweet and I just needed to have a gif of it. I think this is one of my favourite bits in The Great Game, where John announces he’s going to Sarah’s and Sherlock motions to say something to John, but stops himself. He then immediately offers to buy the milk - something he never does, so he’s trying to be nice to win back John’s attention - but John still heads off. Then he arranges to meet with Moriarty, something he’s wanted to do all the way through the episode. But it’s the fact that he chooses this moment to do it, without John’s company, right after he leaves him for Sarah, that says to me this is Sherlock’s jealous ‘screw you’ to John: Let’s see how you like it when I go to someone else for attention.

“All tv shows end. All shipper hearts are broken. Caring is not an advantage, Fandom.”
^That.
This freaking fandom. Never change, will you do that for me, please?
“Fandoms have died.”
“That’s what fandoms DO!”
Not this one, though. Never.
